This series of Anat Baniel Method Neuromovement Transformational Movement Lessons (TLMs) will be taught online using Zoom so that I can interact with each student and will help improve your running. These lessons, based on the science of neuroplasticity and the work of physicist Moshe Feldenkrais, use small, gentle, pain free movements to build new pathways in the brain. This method focuses on helping brain function, leading to transformational outcomes in the areas of increased flexibility and strength, better posture, and pain relief. As well, these classes help reduce anxiety, stress and calm the activity in the brain.
To run effectively, the whole body needs to be used rather than just the feet and legs. This method helps to bring in the pelvis and back to your movements creating a much more comfortable experience. When this happens there is an increase in stamina and this will also reduce your chance of injury.
